Ashley Greene has split from her boyfriend of ten months Reeve Carney.

The Twilight star called time on her romance with the 29-year-old Broadway actor who stars in Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark because of her hectic schedule.

A source close to the 25-year-old actress told USMagazine.com: 'They are over. Reeve seems to be fine and it was just crazy with their schedules.'

But friends have hinted their split could be temporary as Ashley travels around the world for a whirlwind press tour ahead of the release of final installment of the vampire series Twilight: Breaking Dawn: Part Two which hits screens on November 16.

A source said: 'She knows this is a pivotal time in her career. I wouldn't say I could never see them getting back together but right now they are doing their own thing.'

Ashley recently admitted she finds dating difficult and struggles to hold down a relationship because she is constantly travelling for work.


Without naming names, the 25-year-old Twilight saga actress -- whose ex-boyfriends include Reeve Carney, Jared Followill and Joe Jonas -- opens up about her past loves in the December issue of British GQ. "When I'm dating a guy and he says, 'I don't want press,' and then says, 'Let's go to [Hollywood sushi eatery] Katana for dinner' -- I'm like, 'Really? You don't want to just walk down the street to some dive? You don't want to get photographed but you want to go to a place where you know there's paparazzi?'"

Keira Knightley may be an English rose, but there's long been one particular media thorn in her side: her weight.

While the Anna Karenina star famously (and successfully) filed suit against a British tabloid for labeling her anorexic, the actress has long faced accusations that she's too skinny. And the weight of those words hasn't left her unaffected.
